What does “custom-created” mean?
Ah, this is the tour you’ve been waiting for and deserve—not canned or prepackaged, it’s designed to reflect your interests and desires, your wish-list, entirely flexible, entirely yours!
Will there be stops on our tour?
Absolutely…but only if and when you want them. If you want to just drive through Rockefeller Center, for example, that’s fine…but, if you want to stop, you’ll get to explore it (under the guide’s supervision, of course) as much as you’d like.
How can the driver drive safely and be a tour guide at the same time?
Simple answer: he can’t! That’s why all our tours are conducted by two different Signature Tours personnel, a guide and a driver.
Suppose I want to go the Empire State Building or some other attraction on my tour? Do I have to make the arrangements?
Absolutely not. We are glad to handle all advance arrangements for visits to attractions.
Can I book my tour on-line?
We’re sorry, but because our tours are all custom, on-line booking is not an option.
What forms of payment to you accept?
Credit cards (Amex, Mastercard and Visa), wire transfer and check (must be drawn on a United States bank in United States dollars).
What does a tour cost?
Because our tours are all custom, we provide price quotes only after we’ve discussed your tour with you. We strive to be flexible so as to suit varying budgets.
What time does the tour leave?
All tours are by appointment, so your tour leaves at the time you wish it to.
Where does the tour start?
We will pick you up at any Manhattan location for no extra charge. Charges may apply for pick-ups outside of Manhattan.
Will the tour be on a bus?
Only if you want it to be. We work with you to choose a vehicle to fit the size of your party. Your tour is private, so you’ll never be thrown together with others.
How long does a tour take?
We have a four-hour minimum, but we’re happy to go as long as your time and budget permit. We bill by the hour, with the smallest increment being a half-hour.

What if there’s an emergency and I have to cancel my booking?
While we often choose to waive cancellation fees where circumstances beyond your control force you to cancel your tour, the following is our default policy, which we will adhere to unless the situation clearly warrants otherwise:
If tour is canceled for any reason,
more than one (1) week prior to the day services are to be provided, the cancellation fee will be $50, plus any non-refundable expenses that have been advanced;
less than one (1) week, but more than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the day services are to be provided, fee will be 50% of the total estimated fee, plus any non-refundable expenses that have been advanced;
within forty-eight (48) hours of the day services are to be provided, fee will be 100% of the total estimated fee, plus any non-refundable expenses that have been advanced.
